If you’re interested in first rate personal training sessions in Newmarket, look no further! Our incredibly qualified Coaches are on hand to deliver the results you want at incredibly competitive prices. All sessions will take place at CrossFit A14 and take advantage of the first rate strength and conditioning equipment we have on hand. Our personal training sessions can prepare you for what ever you have in mind – from getting in shape for a wedding or getting yourself beach ready, through to preparing you for a marathon or military fitness test!

Each of our trainers charge different rates, based on their experience and the type of sessions they deliver (sessions start as low as £30 per hour or £250 for ten one hour sessions). You will find below information about each of our Coaches below – in alphabetical order – we’ve no favourite, they’re all amazing!

Ben Humphreys

Ben came to CrossFit, as many do, through dissatisfaction with what conventional gyms offer. Ben HOn discovering A14, Ben quickly transformed into a competitive athlete and represented A14 on our 2015 Tribal Clash Team. Ben’s main interests centre on supplementation regimes and competition.

£35 per single session
£30 per hour when booking 10

Nutritional consultations £40
Includes measurements, breakdown of macro nutrients and micro nutrients, 30 minute initial meeting, 30 minute meeting 4 weeks later and my email/ phone number for weekly food diary updates and advice on foods, supplementation and motivation. (30 minute meetings after the 2 initial 30 minute meetings are charged at £15 each)

 Bethany Roots

Beth studied Law at Winchester University, where she was Vice Captain of the Rugby Team, before going on to do a Masters in International Business. She is the Affiliate owner at A14 and with her fiancé, Richard, oversees a good deal of Box admin. She has competed at The British Championships, Wild West, Tribal Clash, European Inferno, and several times at The Rainhill Trials. In her most recent visit to Rainhill she made the final in the top Rocket Division, finishing 8th overall in a very competitive national field. She has a keen interest in competition and mental preparedness.

With the wide range of skills, life experience, qualifications, and his past careers as a professional sportsman and with the armed forces, Tim is timwilson1suited to many types of personal training sessions. He is capable of coaching people from any walk of life; sports person (professional or amateur), house wife or house husband, someone just coming back from having baby, professionals, office workers or someone just wanting to get into better shape!

Josh Davies

Josh comes from a professional rugby background, which took him to New Zealand at the age of 18 and all around the world for Rugby 7’s with Emerging Wales. Having always had a passion for fitness and strength & conditioning, Josh found himself in the world of CrossFit and eventually pursued it as a career, leaving rugby on the back burner due to injury. Josh has been coaching since 2014 and has a huge passion for delivering fun, yet knowledgeable classes. He also has a love of competing, having taken on The Battle of the Beasts, The Battle of London, The Athlete Games and The French Throwdown, making some impressive Top 10 finishes along the way.
